SAFE is offering 2 versions of the Private Investigation training course to meet the varied requirements and schedules of people operating within this sector. We are also licensing the learning resource for this course for trainers wishing to deliver this course.
Private Investigator’s 5-Day Course
Designed for the budding investigator, this course covers the dos and don’ts of Implementing Investigations with various practical aspects of investigations such as Searching for Information, Interviewing, Surveillance and Reporting more comprehensively. Peppered with engaging case studies and interactive activities throughout, the course guides students through the Investigative Cycle – Plan, Gather and Report but also covers in great detail other aspects that commonly falls in to the remit of the Investigator’s role – such as legislation and best practices.
Distance Learning Course and Workshop
Learners will be supplied case activities in segments, with ongoing contact with their tutors. The course is built to enable the students to self-learn, and caters for students with an inquisitive mindset or current investigators. When the activities are finished, students enrol to attend a 1 day workshop where their work is discussed and a few key points are reinforced. An additional workshop is available to go through more practical skills such as Interviewing and Surveillance.
